The Quiet kit SOIL STACK Basic is designed to make water drainage noise from the soil pipe less noticeable and irritating. The kit does not completely eliminate the sound but reduces it to a level where it no longer bothers you and becomes comfortable.
The kit includes dampers of three shapes (Circle, Local, Triangle), which are distributed across the pipe surface. Triangle dampers are applied to the flat surfaces of the pipe in a checkerboard pattern — this approach is optimal for even material distribution and maximizing the soundproofing effect. Local dampers are used on connectors and areas where triangles cannot be placed. Circle dampers are installed on pipe end caps to absorb water vibrations.
For additional sound absorption in the noisiest areas where water turbulence occurs, Memory Foam Tape is used. This material effectively reduces residual noise at joints and connections.
The kit is designed for covering 2 meters of pipe — the section closest to the person where noise is heard the most. This allows targeted soundproofing in the most critical areas. All materials are prepared for installation, and the detailed manual will help you quickly understand the installation process.
